The JBL Flip 7 also features an upgraded IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating, an interchangeable carrying strap or carabiner attachment, multi-speaker connectivity using Bluetooth Auracast, and high-resolution lossless audio when connected to a device and supported service with a USB-C cable.

As the sequel to one of the best Bluetooth speakers, the JBL Flip 7 has some sizeable shoes to fill. Thanks to a leak from Gizmochina, however, we know what things are going to look like. There's going to be IP68 water and dust proofing to start with, making sure that it's still the go-anywhere speaker we've loved so much in the past.

JBL’s previous Flip speaker, the Flip 6, was released in 2021. The JBL Flip 7 is the smaller and more affordable of the new portable Bluetooth speakers. It looks mostly the same as its predecessor, the 2021-released Flip 6, but JBL gave it a number of under-the-hood upgrades.
