The Ashdown School Board has voted to hire Robert Poole as the next superintendent for Ashdown Public Schools.

Twenty-three Gwinnett County high schools are honor roll schools because of their students performances in Advanced Placement courses.

Only Blevins remains among Southwest Arkansas schools. Blevins (26-7) faces Marked Tree in a boys’ semi-final at 1:30 p.m.
