2016年2月10日 · It's because early MK12's had a flip up front sight gas block made by PRI. The front sight gas block was changed, but the rail length never was. When the Mk12 was originally built, there were only a few rail lengths. The standard 12" rifle length was designed for use with the standard FSB, so it leaves the LP gas block exposed.
