Bing Wallpaper App - Daily Refresh Bug Still Unresolved
2024年7月18日 · Open Bing Wallpaper. Go to Settings. Enable "Daily Refresh." Close the app and reopen it later. Notice that "Daily Refresh" is now disabled. This is incredibly frustrating as it defeats the purpose of having a wallpaper app that's supposed to provide fresh images regularly. We have to manually turn on the setting every time we want a new wallpaper.

Simultaneously, in that data directory, I saw only the five most recent images. When I clicked on the Bing icon in the system tray, two additional images - EmbeddedImage1.jpg and EmbeddedImage2.jpg - suddenly appeared IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER IMAGES. So the other images were still there, but Bing Wallpaper no longer knows about them.

For the past week, the Bing daily wallpaper has been refreshing in reverse order to previous days' wallpapers, working it's way back through the images in reverse chronological order until I go into the settings to pick the actual most recent day's image again.
