This study highlights the important roles of transcriptional repression of ribosome biogenesis-related genes for plant reproductive development.

Sep 7, 2022 · Here, we solved the crystal structure of the N-terminal domain (NTD) of all four HDTs (HDT1, HDT2, HDT3, and HDT4) from Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana). The NTDs form a nucleoplasmin fold, exist as pentamers in solution, and are resistant to protease treatment, high temperature, salt, and urea conditions.

Sep 8, 2017 · Here, we show that two Arabidopsis thaliana paralogs encoding plant-specific histone deacetylases, HDT1 and HDT2, regulate a second switch from transit-amplifying cells to expanding cells. Knockdown of HDT1/2 (hdt1,2i) results in an earlier switch and causes a reduced RM cell number.
